Intro

Join us beneath Iceland's dancing skies for an aurora hunt that blends folklore, science, and storytelling. We travel in small groups of just 14 guests, giving your guide the flexibility to chase openings in the clouds and linger when the lights ignite.

Between each viewing stop you'll hear legends of trolls, elves, and Norse gods, sip Icelandic hot chocolate, and warm up inside our custom 4x4 superjeeps. Every departure includes professional photography, so you leave with portraits that look as vivid as the night itself.

Itinerary

Depart Reykjavik between 20:30 and 21:00 (later in April) for an approximately four-hour adventure with 2-3 viewing stops and plenty of flexibility to chase clear skies.

We collect guests at central Reykjavik stops, share the latest aurora and weather outlooks, and outline the plan for the night.

Blankets, hot chocolate, and camera gear are loaded before heading into the countryside.

Your guide uses live forecasts to choose 2-3 viewing locations away from city light. Expect storytelling, photography sessions, and plenty of time to simply watch the sky dance.

After the show we drive back toward Reykjavik, sharing photos and tips for the rest of your trip. Images are edited and delivered within 48 hours.

Laura MSpectacular trip on the Laugavegur. Our guide, Arni, was fantastic-knowledgeable, fun and responsive even when weather caused hiccups. Magnus communicated throughout, even arranging extra excursions. We highly recommend the Hut-to-Hut experience and Norse Adventures!
Philippa SHiking the Laugavegur trail with Norse Adventures was exactly that-an adventure for our slightly older group. We hiked, stayed in huts, ate lovely meals (and celebrated with beer and wine). Magnus and Fenris were master guides and helped anyone who needed it on steep sections. Fifty-five kilometers of fun nights, river crossings, hills and humor. Just do it!
